It’s a new year!

Welcome 2012. I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season and great start to 2012. I know I did (if I don’t count the head-cold from hell, or that I managed to mess up my back and break my little toe. Oy! Happy Holidays.)

A year ago this time, Betrayal’s Price hadn’t found a home yet. Stone’s Kiss was complete and I was working on the query, preparing to get back on the agent-go-round for another try. But then I heard about MuseItUp, a new Canadian epub and I thought “what the heck”. Because of that, it gave me the confidence to pub Stone’s Kiss myself.  A year later, Stone’s Kiss is now novel available to buy, Betrayal’s Price will be one in the next couple months…oh, and I adopted a horse. (Freya, my dogchild still hasn’t forgiven me for that one.) It’s amazing what can happen in a year.

Anyways, Stone’s Kiss is now available at Amazon, Smashwords, Apple ibookstore, and Kobo etc. The print version will be ready shortly as well.

I’ve been busy working on the revisions for Betrayal’s Price (Coming from MuseItup Publishing). Yesterday my cover artist Nika Dixon gave me a sneak peak at the cover. Sorntar looks rather nice on a cover. LOL. I’d always assumed there wasn’t a way to depicted a phoenix/human hybrid using stock photos. I’m very happy to be wrong!

I love what Nika did for Betrayal’s Price’s cover. Can’t wait to unveil it once it’s been given the green light.  So stay tuned—Sorntar is going to make an appearance one day really soon.

What’s the last year been like for you?
